Daytona, I Don't Know If We'll Make It Home

Disappointment sat at the back of my mind. I'd planned a summer roadtrip, and my car we would be taking. One problem: it needed fixing. Looking at the numbers, it was obvious that there was no way in hell that it was going to be ready in time. Similarly, there was no way in hell that I wasn't going on this trip. So, I went on the hunt. Burnout 3's soundtrack blasted in my ears as I scoured Craigslist for cheap, reliable wheels. There it was on the first page, going for the price of a carb rebuild, with three grand of work into it's powertrain. It was perfect.
